… it’s the difference between participating in a conversation and being able to pick out the know-it-all in the group that simply irritates everyone, and the obviously intelligent person that has much to contribute, yet feels as much like a participant and an explorer and a seeker as anyone else. Both smart, perhaps, but they’re approaching things very differently.
